Warm Spring

Warm Spring
I don’t know what is the name of this flower, it wasn’t exactly a flower though. I mean, it was the flower from a big tree. Blooming right the same week as Sakura/Cherry Blossom.
Thanks to multiple shots option because I didn’t use tripod on this one. I usually use tripod in most of my flower shots but not this one. It was another quick look from driving back home from the mountain and I saw the trees with the blooming white flowers. It was beautiful and smells good too!

White balance slightly adjusted in Aperture to add the warm spring afternoon mood. It may looks a bit like monochrome but it wasn’t.

  1. These warm colors are wonderful, Leony!
I love the spring, and the warmth of the summer… I hope Germany will gimme that, soon πŸ˜‰

Browsing your site, I can understand why my aunt loves your country and migrated from Germany to Japan. (Well, perhaps her husband was the driving force :D)

  2. Thank you for taking the time browsing the site Andreas!
It's awesome that you have relatives here then you must've visited Japan before πŸ˜€

  3. Unfortunately, since now of course, I never saw Japan by myself πŸ™
This is one of my most important travel destinations, as you can imagine.
I still have one problem with Japan and Asia, though, I'm allergic to fish. I think i would have to eat rice and Kobe-Beef all the time πŸ˜€

My aunt lives in Kobe, she moved there one year before it was afflicted by the earthquake in 1995…

  4. Oh wow, that must have been a terrible lost for your Aunt, I'm very sorry to hear that πŸ™
Sorry to hear that you have allergic to Fish, just don't eat it when you visit Japan :D. You really should visit Japan sometimes. I'd love to visit Europe, that's one of my future plan πŸ˜€

  5. Mood is right. I like the mood. The tones work well and the background darkness and contrast really work to separate your subject. The light shining through the petals is wonderful.
