My niece pointed this flower with bug, she wanted me to take the photograph so this is for her :))

I just want to make something clear here, that is difficult to shot bug when you’re with kids around and this is the closer I can get considering the lens I used for this shot, it’s not a macro lens anyway. I also used the lowest F number as low I can get from this lens that moment.

Plus I wanted to shot prettiness of the flowers and the other interesting one that isn’t blooming yet as well so I used this angle. Anyway I shot a couple shots from a few others different angle as well, this is the best one I really like.

Thank you all for constructive comments.

  1. Nice focus. Ideally for this shot, I think a bit of a higher angle would show off the bug more effectively, but this is a nice shot nonetheless! Those metallic green bugs make for great shots…

  2. Yes Leony, a bit closer, more bug, less surroundings, and it would be perfect for me šŸ™‚

The colors are great, as always in your photos.

  3. Well, the composition is just perfect for the flowers, so I blame the uncooperative bug for not getting in the right place! šŸ˜€
