Stop and look up.

Stop and look up.
Photo Date : May 31st 2008 – 4:25 PM
Location : Kami-shi
Tripod : Hand held
Filter : CPL
Crop: No
Image quality : RAW
RAW Converter : Aperture 2.1 – Contrast and Vibrance on the mirror slightly adjusted.

It looks like my site back up normal again, no more trouble so far.

This one taken right after the previous shot.
The weather was bad that day and the white background is actually the sky.

It’s funny how bad weather like this can make such a cool background sometimes.

I wanted to follow the rule of thirds but it was not possible because there were bulding on the right side but I’ve managed to get the shot without including the building concrete.

NOTE that as I’m not fond of retouching or manipulating pictures, I do not touch or manipulate the white background.
It’s naturaly like that when I took the photograph.
The only thing I did just adjusting the contrast and vibrance on the mirror 🙂

  1. WOW! This is great. Was going to ask how you did the white background…and then I read that it's actually an overcast sky.
    Powerful image!

  2. Hello there, Leony…sorry it took me a loooooong while to return your visit to my p-blog. This shot is very creative. Love the way you framed the shot, and I see you've got the awesome D300! Thinking of selling some of my old photographic equipment so that I can get me one of those. B-) Cheers from the SF Bay – {H}
