It looks like my site back up normal again, no more trouble so far.

This one taken right after the previous shot.
The weather was bad that day and the white background is actually the sky.

It’s funny how bad weather like this can make such a cool background sometimes.

I wanted to follow the rule of thirds but it was not possible because there were bulding on the right side but I’ve managed to get the shot without including the building concrete.

NOTE that as I’m not fond of retouching or manipulating pictures, I do not touch or manipulate the white background.
It’s naturaly like that when I took the photograph.
The only thing I did just adjusting the contrast and vibrance on the mirror 🙂

Very sorry for my absence lately. I finally feel better but life can get very hectic at times and that’s what kept me from not being able to update this blog 🙁

I also want to thank you to all the comments. I really value and appreciate each one of them. They really helpful to reminds and realize my mistake sometimes.

Anyway, back to the topic. Not sure what title I should give for this one as I’m not good enough on giving title to all my photograph, I guess I need to get some inspirations.

This one is just another random shot I took last week.
I didn’t bother to switch lens because after getting a lot of experience with dirts on my lens, I find myself lazy to switch lens especially when I’m shooting outdoor.

PS. This is the third times I’ve been trying to post this update so sorry for the slow loading.

Edited:

I figured out the problem and now my site back up again.

Sorry for the lack of update. I’ve been ill for the last few days and still ill but I figured at least I have to post something today.

Anyway, I haven’t bee able to go out so I’ve been digging my library today and a lot of shots I really like including this one.
Not sure with the tone though as I am no expert in monochrome/B&W photograph.

The couple in the background were having a date or something and the girl is looking right at me so I focused on the flower instead of stealing their privacy :)).

The only thing that bother me is the dark shade on the right top. It’s probably the tree but ah well, I’m going to leave it that way.

Not sure what I was drawn to. Was it the nature view or the jailbar? I’m not sure. I know that I kinda break the rules on the photograph but I realized that sometimes I use my feeling and emotion when taking a photograph.

Someone dumped this poor thing at the Port and there were 10 ( I counted them) homeless cats around this area and she is one of them. This homeless cat is 10 years old according the old lady who’ve been feeding the homeless cats around here for years.

I caught her laying there still, looking at the ocean. She doesn’t seem to be afraid of me so I was lucky enough to get a couple shots of this beautiful creature before she got scared and ran off when she saw my niece running towards me.

Anyway, back to the photography, I slightly adjusted the vibrancy and colour of the eyes so her naturaly blue eyes pop up.

My eyes caught the blue sky reflected on the water while the other side of the sky looked grayish. It was a strange day with strange weather.

My niece pointed this flower with bug, she wanted me to take the photograph so this is for her :))

Edited:

I just want to make something clear here, that is difficult to shot bug when you’re with kids around and this is the closer I can get considering the lens I used for this shot, it’s not a macro lens anyway. I also used the lowest F number as low I can get from this lens that moment.

Plus I wanted to shot prettiness of the flowers and the other interesting one that isn’t blooming yet as well so I used this angle. Anyway I shot a couple shots from a few others different angle as well, this is the best one I really like.

Thank you all for constructive comments.
